Netflix’s global fan day ‘Tudum’ was taking place on the same weekend as the AFL Grand Final and Netflix wanted to leverage the moment to create local brand love.
In planning, we suggested that actually, the most authentic role for Netflix to play was after the Grand Final, when there’s suddenly a giant footy-sized hole on TVs.
So to herald the start of ‘Netflix Season’, we created a pub devoted to everything to look forward to on Netflix; the ‘Who’s Watch Inn’.
The pub had a drinks and food menu inspired by Netflix shows, a Netflix Pub Trivia and an open mic comedy night featuring Nazeem Hussain and Melanie Bracewell.
