About:
I peaked very early in my advertising career.
At eight, I had the honour of playing ‘Farmer’s Son’ for a Target commercial.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t a cowboy hat on set big enough for my head.
It’s unlikely I reach those dizzying heights again, but my time in the industry has still been a blast.
I’ve worked on everything from tourism to skincare, had my work recognised at all of the impressive places, used eight different timesheet systems and done a fair bit of good along the way.
As a planner, I love listening to people, interrogating the problem to get to the most honest version of it, and trying to be as real as I can about how actual people think. I get too excited over a good idea and I love seeing things through; I don’t dust my hands when the brief is done. I also have a crippling obsession with making really nice looking decks.
I genuinely still believe this is the greatest excuse for a job and I’m just as giddy about it as I was when I first started.
It’s been three years since I made the jump from Melbourne to London, where I’ve been soaking in everything at adam&eve\TBWA ever since.
