Making simplicity sexy in the world of mortgages

For too long, getting a mortgage in Australia had been unnecessarily complicated.

ANZ set out to change that by being the first to get rid of the notoriously ambiguous ‘package’; an annual fee that supposedly gave you extra benefits for your home loan that nobody could really explain.

To celebrate this simplicity, we parodied a category that was anything but; perfume. In the brief, we spoke about no more package baggage, and how with ANZ Home Loans, you can feel good about what you’re leaving behind, not just what you’re signing up for.

I love that this idea helped us stand out in the category without talking about discounts or rates.
