A playful refresh for the new and powerful Lloyds app
In 2024, the Lloyds Bank app got a serious upgrade.
But while the new app put more power people’s hands, we wanted the joy of this campaign to come from how people used that power.
So we tried to be as honest as we could with how real people might use the app, to make the campaign more playful and less banky.
Questions we asked ourselves included:
‘How might Greg - father to an overly-excited nine year old - actually use Card Freeze?’
‘How would John - usually too awkward to ask his mates to pay him back - actually use the expense splitter feature?’
